Badan Pengusahaan (BP) Batam bersama Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG) meresmikan launching Geoportal Spasial BP Batam di Balairungsari, Batam Center, Senin (24\/7\/2023).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Peluncuran tersebut dilakukan langsung oleh Kepala BP Batam, Muhammad Rudi bersama Kepala Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG), Muh Aris Marfai.<\/p>\n

Kepala BP Batam Muhammad Rudi mengatakan, dengan peluncuran Geoportal Spasial BP Batam ini tentunya menjadi suatu kebanggaan tersendiri bagi BP Batam. Sebab, dari seluruh Kabupaten dan Kota di Kepri, baru BP Batam mempunyai data geospasial yang dapat dimanfaatkan.<\/p>\n

\u201cSaya kira BP Batam yang paling sempurna. Saya sudah keliling banyak kabupaten lainnya, sepertinya masih manual. Kita mau tanya ROW jalannya aja bingung,\u201d kata Muhammad Rudi.<\/p>\n

Banyak data geospasial yang dapat dimanfaatkan. Diantaranya data Pertanahan, Fatwaplanologi, Infrastruktur, Kawasan Industri, Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK), Pelabuhan, Bandara, Objek Wisata dan lainnya.<\/p>\n

Sehingga, lanjut Muhammad Rudi penyelenggaraan geoportal spasial BP Batam merupakan wujud implementasi Undang-undang (UU) Nomor 4 Tahun 2011 tentang Informasi Geospasial dan amanat pemerintah pusat melalui kebijakan satu peta.<\/p>\n

\u201cKebijakan satu peta ini tidak hanya bermanfaat bagi BP Batam, namun juga berguna bagi perencanaan pembangunan Indonesia dengan data geospasial yang terintegrasi dan tersinkronisasi dengan Satu Data Indonesia dan Simpul Jaringan Nasional,\u201d ujar orang nomor satu di Batam itu.<\/p>\n

Senada dengan yang disampaikan oleh Kepala BP Batam Muhammad Rudi, Kepala Badan Informasi Geospasial, Muh. Aris Marfai mengatakan, data geospasial ini sangat penting bagi dunia investasi di Kota Batam. Sebagaimana modal dari investasi adalah adanya ketersediaan lahan.<\/p>\n

\u201cNah, kalau lokasi kita mesti ngomong ruang, kalau ruang mesti harus ada petanya. Sehingga BP Batam melaunching geoportal BP Batam yang akan menyediakan seluruh data spasial di Batam dalam rangka untuk mempermudah investasi,\u201d ujar Aris.<\/p>\n

Ia melanjutkan, sesuai dengan amanat dari UU Nomor 4 Tahun 2011, Badan Informasi Geospasial bertugas sebagai penyelenggara informasi geospasial. Serta melakukan pembinaan informasi geospasial, baik itu kepada kementrian, lembaga, pemda hingga badan.<\/p>\n
