According to Asman, it is not easy for a region to obtain special status from the central government as BP Batam currently enjoys. This includes Government Regulations (PP) Number 25 of 2025, PP Number 28 of 2025, PP Number 4 of 2025, and PP Number 47 of 2025.<\/p>\n
\u201cHarmonising these diverse policies is not easy. The positive impact of this is cutting through bureaucratic red tape and simplifying the licensing process, which has long been a complaint of business actors. As a result, there will no longer be concerns about investing in Batam, he added.<\/p>\n
