The Head of BP Batam, Amsakar Achmad, and the Deputy Head of BP Batam, Li Claudia Chandra, held a meeting with the Director General of State Finance Audit V of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI), Widhi Widayat, at the Main Bida Building of BP Batam on Tuesday (07/04/2026).

The meeting was held to discuss the follow-up and recommendations arising from the BPK RI's monitoring of BP Batam's financial statement for the 2025 fiscal year.

Amsakar Achmad, along with Li Claudia Chandra, affirmed their institution's commitment to following up on every recommendation submitted by the BPK RI. BP Batam fully supports all audit stages through the readiness of data and information.

“Thank you for the input provided by BPK RI, BP Batam will follow up immediately and continue to coordinate with the inspection team so as to maintain and further improve the quality of financial reports,” said Amsakar.

The mayor of Batam, Amsakar, added that the BPK's assistance plays a strategic role in government administration, especially as Batam continues to strengthen its position as a leading industrial city. The results are expected to have a direct impact on the community and businesses.

This meeting is the second strategic effort by the two institutions to strengthen synergy in promoting transparent, accountable, and results-oriented state financial management.
