The Head of BP Batam, Amsakar Achmad, along with the Deputy Head of BP Batam, Li Claudia Chandra, attended the P2SP Task Force Debottlenecking Channel Complaint Hearing at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Office, Friday (13/3/2026).
The presence of Amsakar and Li Claudia is a manifestation of the commitment to swiftly follow up on and resolve licensing and operational obstacles faced by businesses.
A variety of investment issues were the main topic of discussion at the forum, ranging from Recommendations on the Suitability of Land Use Activities (RKKPR), land allocation, to the acceleration of National Strategic Projects (PSN).
In front of the Indonesian Minister of Finance, Amsakar and Li Claudia also affirmed their commitment to addressing these issues in order to foster an inclusive and transparent investment climate.
“The input from the Minister of Finance will be followed up so that investment and economic growth in Batam continue to increase and provide significant contributions to regional development,” said the Head of BP Batam, Amsakar Achmad.
Responding to questions about the Recommendation for Suitability of Land Use Activities (RKKPR), Amsakar explained that BP Batam had not allocated any land whatsoever in the recent period due to the moratorium some time ago.
In addition, Amsakar continued, his office is also improving the LMS (Land Management System) so that database updates for improved land services are more optimal.
“Furthermore, there are several things in the Spatial Planning Detailed Plan (RDTR) that need to be further detailed,” explained Amsakar.
Senada, Deputy Head of BP Batam, Li Claudia Chandra, affirmed that her office would also coordinate with the central government to resolve several issues related to complaints from businesses or investors.
With the hope that investment growth in Batam can be more conducive and transparent.
“We will continue to coordinate with the central government to follow up on several investment-related issues. The aim is for Batam to grow rapidly and play an important role in national economic growth,” said Li Claudia. (DN)
